Hello and welcome back crafty friends!
We LOVED seeing your “anything goes” projects over the past month and want to thank you so much for participating in Challenge #22.
Thank you so much to all of those who participated in Challenge #21 & 22! Congratulations to our Challenge #21-22 winner, Yvonne (you can see her amazing interactive card here), please feel free to grab and display your winner badge which can be found on the righthand column (or at the bottom of the page on mobile)!
Now, onto Penguin Palace Challenge #23! This month we have a fun spring colour palette (despite the fact that we’ve had 3 snowstorms in the past 2 weeks..) and I’m sharing a card using some of the new digi stamps! Don’t forget to link your projects featuring Penguin Palace stamps below for your chance to win a $25 gift card!

I started by creating my scene using the Woodland Scene Builder Layered Dies. I diecut Layer 2 and 3 out of white cardstock and Copic-colored the trees to add dimension. Next, I cut a piece of 4.25″ x 4.25″ cardstock and blended by sky background using Distress Oxide Inks to match the color palette (Salvaged Patina, Peacock Feathers, Uncharted Mariner, Prize Ribbon). Then I adhered Layer 2 and 3 to my background and adhered the whole thing to a square card base.

My critters are from the new Adventure in Australia Digital Stamp. I wanted them to face each other on my card, but the original images both face the same way — this is why I love digis, it’s much easier to manipulate the images than traditional stamps! To do this, I put my images into Microsoft Word (you can use any program you like!) and simply clicked on one and hit “reflect”. After printing the images onto my usual white cardstock, I Copic-colored and fussy cut them out. Next, I stamped and white heat-embossed a sentiment from We Are Right For Each Other onto a strip of black cardstock, adhered everything down, and added some clear gems to finish off the card!

We love seeing your creations and would love for you to join us in this month’s challenge! All you have to do to enter is use the challenge color palette to create a project that features at least one Penguin Palace product as the focal point. Full challenge rules can be found here.
This month’s challenge runs until March 30th at 11:59 PDT. We’ll select a winner to receive a $25 CAD gift certificate to ppstamps.com from challenge #23 and #24 which will be announced on May 1st at the beginning of challenge #25!
Don’t forget to link up your project below, and if you’re sharing to social media use the hashtag #penguinpalaceprojects! We’d also love for you to share your projects in the challenge album in our Penguin Palace Facebook group!
Congrats to Yvonne! And darling scene Candice!
